Rugged

Having been on the receiving end of a rug pull - the project's insiders sold or withdrew liquidity, collapsing the price.

Rugged is the participant's word for the event described in rug-pull. It covers the formal version, where liquidity is pulled or contract functions are abused, and the informal one, where the team simply sells its holdings and goes quiet.

The word has broadened to mean any sudden abandonment by insiders, including token unlocks that were disclosed all along. That broadening matters: a scheduled unlock you did not read about is a research failure rather than a fraud, and the two deserve different responses.
