The bearish mirror of three-white-soldiers. Steady distribution over three periods with little recovery in between and small lower-shadows.
It is most significant appearing at the end of an extended uptrend or breaking out of a topping formation such as a double-top, where it confirms that supply has taken over.
Two honest caveats. First, after three large red candles a bounce is statistically common, so entering short at the third close is poor trade-location. Second, in fast selloffs the pattern prints constantly and adds nothing. It is best used as confirmation of a structure you already identified, not as a trigger on its own.
